Any athlete training for a race, knows how important it is to 'pace' themselves. Likewise, as a disciple you must 'P.A.C.E' yourself during your spiritual growth. P - Patience: Growth takes time and some take longer than others so be patient with yourself. You can only change one thing at a time so try not to overwhelmed yourself. A - Accountability: Ask someone another disciple to ask you each week how your H.A.B.I.T.S. are going. The humble in heart know that they can't do it alone. Read Hebrews 10:24-25. C - Consistency: H.A.B.I.T.S. are something that you need make 'Daily'. Your spiritual life is like your physical body, if you don't feed it everyday it will fade away and die. Read Acts 17:10. E - Evaluation: As the saying goes, "success is measured by what we do verses what we could do." You can't compare yourself to others. It's important that you look in the mirror and ask yourself "am I truly putting God first and proving faithful with my talents?" If you're ready to begin go to COME. |
